Skill Levels

We have come up with a unique and special scale for letting you know what the skill level is that is needed for individual projects. We hope that this will help you in deciding which projects you'd like to try.

The different skill levels are indicated by shaded butterflies. There are five butterflies. The more of the butterflies that is pink, the greater the difficulty of that project. One pink butterfly signifies beginner and it goes all the way up to five pink butterflies which signifies expert.

For instance, if you are a beginner, you may want to look for projects that are a skill level of one to two pink butterflies. The majority of our projects are for great for beginners and advanced beginners, but we really do want to offer projects for everyone, so that is why we offer projects of different skill levels.

Sometimes you'll also see a butterfly that is partially pink and that means that it is somewhere between two skill levels.

Another great feature is that you can mouse over the butterflies and a box will appear that will give you a little insight into the reason for the projects skill level indicated.
