I thought I would share my families favorite cake recipe. This cake is so delicious…moist, chocolatey, and super yummy! Our favorite is to serve it warm with ice cream!!!
Chocolate Zucchini Cake
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sour milk
2 cups zucchini, grated and drained
2 1/2 cups flour
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix margarine, oil, sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and stir. Then add milk and dry ingredients, alternately, stirring until mixed. Last put in zucchini. Put in a lightly greased 9″ x 13″ baking pan. Sprinkle cake with topping: 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, and 1 cup chocolate chips. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-50 minutes. ENJOY!
